In this day and age all you see is people basing their life off of how much money they have. People are lowering their standards and morals for the love of money. I refuse to look at life through that lens. It has helped me in life to refer back to the scriptures God put here for us to follow. It is all so simple! The bible says, "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." If you are in a situation where you are struggling with your finances and don't know what to do, fear not. God got your back! He will never leave you! He wants the best for you! Cast all your cares on him and he will direct your path! Be encouraged! Turn your reality around and trust God!

Lets talk about LOVE! We all know that loving one another can be an easy but sometimes hard thing. I also know that loving someone that doesn't love you can be the hardest task of them all! But what reward is it just to love people who love you? Spreading love where it is lost is also a wonderful thing to do in the world. Sometimes I would sit back and only love those who showed me love and I realized that wasn't what it was all about. I wanted to share my happiness and joy with others! You never know what someone is going through and that mean mug, hatred , or jealousy can just be a simple cry for help! What Would Jesus Do?

Balancing it ALL!

Whoa! I just had to start of this post with that sound effect because that is exactly what I say when I am overwhelmed. Whoa! Sometimes you just have to take a step back...pause...breath and get it all together. I personally am learning my recipe on balancing family, marriage and career. I am in love with my husband, obsessed with my baby boy and passionate about my career. Its all about priorities, standards and keeping it real. If I ever need some time to my self I go to the coffee shop, read a book and collect my self. I come back home and I am recharged and ready to go! So mothers,fathers even kids if you need some ME time take it! Self care is most important! To be the best YOU!

BUT GOD!!

I Just want to say that God is sooo Good! He continues to make ways out of no way! He continues to Love us the way we need to be loved! Lets take time to show our appreciation to God. Lets not cut off our time short in prayer to respond to a instagram notification or FaceBook Like. Lets lock out the noise of the world and focus all of our attention on him! I always am working hard to block out the negative vibes and distractions to focus my attention to God. We all know in this day in age it seems like the world is growing out of Love with God. But I know that us Jesus Lovers will stand strong and know that God is real and Alive and he IS the Beginning and the End! He is in control of this entire universe and he makes the world go round. So before you try to let others define who you are just know that God Fearfully and wonderfully made you who you are...OWN IT! Live in his love, walk in his love and clear your path so nobody stops your opportunity for God to use you!

I know we were put on this earth to do more than work and pay bills for a living. It is really important to treat your self to an ice cream cone or a pedicure every now and then. What ever makes you happy...Do it. Atleast once a week. Cheers to your self for growing and making it in this cold world. The common term for this is called, 'Taking time to smell the roses'. Your life is something you have complete control over, why not take control and fulfill your dreams! Stay motivated and visualize where you want to be and make a check list of things you need to do to make that come to past. Granted, its not going to happen over night but if you have a checklist its something that can keep you going. Everyday the burning question in your heart should be...What have you done to get closer to your dreams today? Just make sure that you have an answer to that question daily and it is a guarantee you will be on your way to the finish line. So here are the steps...

1. Visualize where you want to be in life and why?

2. Make a checklist of what you need to do? (Research)

3.Start a Savings account or piggy bank to financially support anything you need to do.

4. Be consistent

4. Pray

Following these 4 steps should jump start your dreams in the right direction for sure.REMEMBER IT IS NOT TO LATE! GO FOR IT!

What made you want to get into pageants? 

Pageants are great for exposure when you are trying to do something impactful. My mom put me in a church pageant when I was 2 years old. When I found that you could earn scholarships and have a platform, I got bit by the pageant bug and I loved it especially coupled with my cause.

How did you choose which pageant you were going to be apart of?

Other women can be aware of pageants and more specifically the U.S. United Pageant system, by connecting to current title holders, visiting the pageant's website, joining pageant related social media groups or by looking out for postings at their schools.

How can other young woman be aware of the pageant system?

 Wow! What a great question! I have many goals so I will narrow it down and share my top four. My first is to use my current title effectively so that young ladies (ages 10-18 years old) will join my organization thereby helping to change the mindsets of our girls. Secondly, I hope to have 100 young ladies registered and consistent in my program. Third, I want every girl, no matter her background, race, status, condition, body shape or hair type to understand her worth.  Fourthly, I want to make a global impact so that my organization (I Am A Queen Foundation) is not just a program to join but a movement to follow.

Do you aspire to have a family in this day and age?

I absolutely desire to have a family in this day and age. Although I am ready for it right now, I will wait patiently for my husband that I can truly honor as a king.

How is your queen business going?

The business off helping young ladies understand their worth as royalty, is going great! Our next outreach is in October and we are mega excited! God can only take us higher from here.

Need a JOB?? 3 steps to get HIRED!

Getting a job can be challenging for some but for others it comes natural. If you follow these 3 steps you should be well on your way on conquering a great job soon!!

Step 1: DRESS THE PART- First impressions are last impressions. Coming in to a work place you must look as if you have the job already! An average outfit is not going to win. Take your time getting dressed make sure everything is tidy. For females a great outfit would be a cute pencil skirt with a solid color button up (white,cream,black) with a pair of pearls. For males, a pair of nice slacks with a simple crisp button up would be a great look! Be happy,smile and have great energy! 'Look like where you want to go,not what your going through'.

Step 2: SPEAK TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE AND ASK QUESTIONS: One of the main problems is asking the wrong person at a business for information. When your job hunting the FIRST person you need to ask for is the MANAGER. There should always be a manager on duty. Greet them with a firm handshake and ask the manager if they were hiring.If they are not ask them when they expect to begin hiring or where you can fill out an application. Have a positive attitude and they will like you and remember you.

Step 3: FOLLOW UP!- Nine times out of ten you were not the first person to come in their store asking for job availability so you must stay on them about hiring. Call up there 3 day after turning in your application. Depending on convenience you can also go up there physically and do the same. The proper way to ask is: "Hello,I'm trying to check the status on my job application?" They must give you an answer and more than likely they are going to get familiar with your name and will know you are serious about this! This shows determination! Think about if you were hiring for a job would you give it to the person checking on it or the person waiting for someone to come to them? Exactly!

There is nothing like earning some extra cash to pamper your self every now and then.Having cash just makes everyone happier! Secondly you must take time to RELAX! Take time out of this busy world called, life to slow down and sleep in,watch your favorite TV show and laugh! Getting those days you can just relax on the couch and eat ice cream all day is what makes life rewarding 😄.Lastly make some short term and long term goals,you would like to reach before the summer is over.
